Jazz in Marciac 30th Anniversary Tour

Brickhouse Productions Jazz Tours invites you to join us on a magnificent visit to Gascony, France to celebrate the Joie de Vivre of Jazz in Marciac's 30th Anniversary!

From July 29 – August 7th, we travel to the heart of Gascony to celebrate the Jazz in Marciac Festival 30th Anniversary. Recognized as France's Summer Jazz Capital, Marciac is widely respected by musician and jazz travelers world wide for it's excellent musical performances. Hosting the world's greatest artist such as Wynton Marsalis; returning to Marciac for his sixteenth consecutive year.

This is your golden opportunity to live the Joie de Vivre of a life style that is truly France - gorgeous countryside filled with radiant fields of sunflowers and beautiful winding, tree-lined roads greet you as a montage from a painting from Monet. You will discover the sweet earthiness of Armagnac at Chateau Briat, estate of Henry XVI and savor the bountiful wines of Plainmont Vineyards, as intergal to the land as Gascony itself. Home of myth and lore such as the legendary D'Artagnan of the Three Musketeers fame and Toulouse Lautrec, who captured the Espirit de Paris during the Grand Epoch. Marciac is an experience that you will fondly remember for the rest of your life!

While enjoying the summers hottest jazz concerts guaranteed to thrill every evening, your days and nights in Marciac are reserved at the elegant Chateau de Projan. Your own private rustic chateau providing you with exquisite service and flair. Tantilizing cusine along with the regions best wines at every meal will spoil you for life.

Paris Excursion
The Paris excursion dates are August 7 - 11, 2007. Upon departing Toulouse, we will travel to Paris where we will stay at the Prince de Conti Hotel in St. Germain des Pres. The hotel is a comfortable oasis away from the bustle of Paris and conveniently located in the area of St. Michael, literally a five minute walk from the Seine River and footbridge crossing over the river to the Louvre Museum. The neighborhood is a mixture of art galleries and typical Parisian restaurants with outdoor cafés such as Le Palette, a famous haunt for artist during the days of Piccasso. Also, located in the neighborhood is Le Proscope, Paris’s oldest restaurant. From the hotel you’re within easy walking distance of the Odeon Metro Station, the Jardin Luxembourg, Invalides, the D’orsay Museum, and the Latin Quarter.

By day we will take-in such sights as the Picasso Museum, the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and interesting sights in the neighborhood with a private guide. By night, we will visit a few of the cities jazz standards such as the New Morning Jazz Club. We will even arrange for shows such as Crazy Horses or the Molin Rouge and if interested, a day excursion to the Gardens of Giverny. With so many choices, we will setup our itinerary on a day to day basis.

Paris Excursion Prices
The base package for Paris $1,200 per person based on double occupancy.
The single supplement for Paris is $300.
