This year travel with WGBH-FM, jazz host Eric Jackson of Boston's leading NPR music and cultural station, and Brickhouse Productions to Jazz in Marciac.

From July 30th - August 8th, we travel to the heart of Gascony in the Midi- Pyrenee's to partake of this sensational jazz festival in the Jazz Capital of France. Marciac is widely recognized for it's tremendous musical performances and for 15 years now has been the summer home of Wynton Marsalis. If you've never experienced a trip to Southwest France then this is your golden opportunity to discover the joie de vivre of France and its gorgeous countryside filled with radiant fields of sunflowers and beautiful, winding, tree-lined roads built by Napoleon. Savor the sweet earthiness of Armagnac at Chateau Briat, the former hunting estate of Henry XVI. Gascony is also home of the legendary D'Artagnan, and Toulouse Lautrec.
If you love life, you'll love Marciac!
