Brickhouse Productions in partnership with WBGO Jazz 88 - FM
are delighted to offer as part of the Passport to Jazz celebration a special anniversary trip to Canada during the dates of June 28th through July 5th, 2004, to celebrate the Festival International du Jazz Montreal 25th Anniversary. 25 + 25 years of great jazz!

Montreal. The largest French-speaking city in North America lives, works and plays in a multitude of languages and cultures. This is a city ruled by a passion for all things fabulous, where everything is cause for spontaneous celebration during the festival and a concert around every corner, day or night. The collective, overwhelming love of jazz, film, humor, and theater are all reasons enough to turn the entire city into one large realm of revelry and camaraderie.

We invite you to travel with us to truly make this a memorable occasion. With 500 Plus concerts, (350 free concerts), from the dates of June 28th through July 5th, 2004, we offer you a choice of travel packages to join us as we partake of this wonderful experience. We’re pulled out all the stops for celebrating our 25th in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of the International Festival du Jazz Montreal to truly make this a memorable occasion. Let the fete commence!

Choose your choice of transportation. We offer direct service via Air Canada from Newark International Airport to Montreal’s Dorval International Airport. For our guest desiring a more leisurely mode of travel, we offer travel via Amtrak direct from New York Penn Station to Montreal.

Upon arrival in Montreal, you will be met by our personal travel guide and host who will be with you throughout your journeys. Your seven night stay will be at Delta Hotel, on Avenue President Kennedy, located directly adjacent to the main venue of the Montreal Jazz Festival. The Delta’s close proximity is just a short walk across the park from the festival’s main outdoor stage yet provides you with peace and quiet during your time away from the festival. Your balcony overlooks the main concert venue.

The first twenty persons registering can take advantage of the Montreal International Festival Gala Opening Night Diana Krall and Friends June 29th concert. We make no bones about it, these tickets are being offered on a first come-first serve basis. All travel packages include reserved seats for three (3) concerts taking place at the Place des Arts Hall, featured today's best known artists. Les Carte des Amis, (the Friends Card), providing you with daily admission to jam sessions at the Hyatt Hotel, jazz festival special edition jazz CD, as well as access to 350 free festival concerts and much more. Additional artists will be announced once the official festival lineup is published in May, 2004.

To help you familiarize yourself with Montreal we will take a personalized guided walking/coach city tour on our first full day. From Ville-Marie to the Montreal of tomorrow, you will discover the second largest French speaking city in the world. We will experience full day excursions to Quebec City, an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Landmark. From its origins as a fur trading post to its present status as Quebec’s provincial capital, Quebec City is considered the cradle of French Civilization in the Americas. Our second full day trip takes us to the Richelieu Valley, and its beautiful small villages located along the Richelieu River. Enjoy two different wine tastings while discovering its inspiring history dating back to the very heart of New France. Both full day tours include guide and lunch.

Your seven night festival package includes American breakfast daily, lunch on the full day tours to Quebec City and the Richelieu Valley and the group farewell dinner.
